MICRODERMABRASION
What Is Microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive and painless skin-rejuvenation procedure that exfoliates the outermost layer of the skin. There are no needles or anesthetics required for microdermabrasion. Vacuum pressure and speed are adjusted depending on the sensitivity and tolerance of the skin.
Microdermabrasion makes use of a fine micro-diamond spray which is then vacuumed off, taking dull spots and dead skin with it. While there may be some pinkness on the skin afterwards, it usually resolves within a few hours, offering very little downtime. Microdermabrasion is safe for all skin colors.
What Can It Treat?
Microdermabration is a treatment for:
-
Improving texture and skin tone
-
Dull-looking complexion
-
Sun Damage
-
Fine lines and wrinkles
-
Age spots and dark spots (Hyperpigmentation)
-
Melasma
-
Acne and acne scars
-
Blackheads and enlarged pores
-
Stretch marks
Because microdemrabrasion removes the outer dead skin layer, it exposes the living skin that is receptive to nutrients. This improves the regeneration of collagen, which improves resistance to the effects of aging.
